I must unfortunately withdraw from this wonderful event - I have been granted a generous period of holiday by work and the call of an additional week in the States is too great.

Price is negotiable as i am fully paid-up already - after posting here, please email me if you are interested.

Cheers

Rob

I might be able to arrange for somebody to transport my S60 to London. If that works, then I’ll be on parade at 15:00. If not, I’ll be there by 18:00.

Please post when RLC’s replacement is known so that I can update the placemats. (Rob Coombes isn’t coming maybe he could be persuaded?)

Thanks a lot Julian,

for a better motivation I would make you head of the decanting team if you arrive on time. So far its just Jacob and me.

Jacob, could you please print the tasting mats and bring them along. This way I would not need to air-carry them.

'Thanks

Axel

I suspect that will not be as easy for JGH as it has previously been. A back-up plan should be considered.

I can print, but it will be on my home printer (which is a LaserJet) so if someone has access to something a bit bigger then please do volunteer.

This posts quotes from every member of the decanting team. My home printer is ink; Axel’s is a plane away; so Jacob’s is indeed the best. Thank you Jacob.

My understanding is that all attendees are right-handed. If you know otherwise, say so soon.

I've just had a guest confirm that they can attend, so I think we're back up to 14 people?

On the day there are two big tasks: decanting, and glass washing.

I’m glass-washed out this time I’m decanting. Through work at the Fonseca Guimaraens Jacob surely earned his place decanting. We two can cope with decanting.

But glass washing and drying still needs to be done. What is the plan? Axel: what is the plan?

Not further followed for this. The RAF Club promised me some bigger glasses this time. Will see, but the washing-privates (Jacob and me) are ready to serve.

Although Julian is very kind, I am happy to wash again, on the basis that I have attended quite a number of RAF-Club tastings previously without washing*.
