Thanks, good catch. I had D77 in my notes, it should be Delaforce 1977, and i've amended that above.

OK, so next steps are the theme - will be decided by the local members and what is in their cellar.

I would like to adopt as would my brother and would my GF.
Babysitter has now fallen through so my sis in law isn't now coming - sorry about that.

Want me to invite someone else? Spouse might come (though she doesn't drink), alt I bet my brother would be interested and I could bring a bottle for him.

As for holding food I should be there between 6:30 and 7:30 as long as u guys socialzie for a few at beginning of evening prior to starting meal I think I should be ok. But just in case Risotto, filet (med rare) and creme brulee. Thanks

I personally have only 1 out of 6 bottles of dow 77 that I've tried that was good. The rest have this ... "funk"/ "VA" / "weirdness" to it

A few notes, however:

1.) My lone Warre 86 LBV seems to have gone AWOL. I will dig around a bit more for it (part of the trouble is that my wine coolers currently hold 2-3X the volume they were intended for, so that pulling out bottles (heck -- even opening the door) can get messy). Fear not, I will bring along a more exotic bottle (blind) should I be unable to locate it.

2.) My loving GF terry fears it may be another late night at the office, so she may show up a little bit after the official start time (she can, I am confident, catch up)
