On the other hand, *if* (and only if) you were already going to Weingalarie (you previously mentioned you might be dropping in there) and had room to purchase an extra bottle, I would love a bottle of Kopke Colheita 1984 (€45) - and could then swap you for one of the F83/D83 pair which I will be bringing. Very sorry to say that all the 1984 Kopke has sold out! And I never thought to ask if you had a second choice.. This is what caused me confusion, when combined with my earlier post where I said that I would bring G83. Noting that Tom will likely be back home very late for bottle pickup+decant, plus your earlier query regarding decant times; For ideal comparison the bottles should really have similar decant times - I would suggest 6-12hr. As this might be unlikely to be possible for AHB/THRA bottles, I offer to bring G85, W85 and W83 in addition to the F83 and D83 (I cannot provide T85, sorry), which would all be decanted 6-8hrs before tasting and would solve most problem with AHB/THRA timing, if that would help. If wanted please let me know, otherwise I shall just arrive with F83 and D83 as per current plan.
