Anything but Port, this includes all wines other than fortified wines (which have their own section) even if they call themselves Port. There is a search facility for this part of the forum.

2011 Kaapzicht Hanepoot Jerepigo

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Made from white table grapes, pressed and immediately fortified to 17% before any fermentation. Pale straw in colour. A huge nose of sweet muscat grapes and elderflowers, sweet and inviting. Full of sweet, fresh and floral flavours - sticky but with a nice freshness and delicacy to it. Different and enjoyable. 86/100. May 2015.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
