Deep red, no bricking but a mature pink rim; 90% opaque. Initially this smells of baby-sick! A swirl changes the smell to a sweet blackcurrant but with a warning hint of rosemary. Youthful fruit on entry; dry tannins sitting in a soft whitecurrant core. A nice balance on the palate but this will benefit from more time in the bottle. There is some heat on the aftertaste. A dry tannin-led sweet redcurrant start to the finish before a long and complex green-wood finish of great length. Fragrant but youthful port. 88/100.
