Mature red colour, no bricking; 80% opaque. Fragrant nose, but questionable perhaps with a bit of oxidation - or maybe just fragrant white cherry. The palate is soft but the fragrance carries through from the nose with faint dry tannins and the core. Quite lightweight and very fragrant; harsh and hot on the aftertaste and at the start of the finish. With patience this leads to a jelly and bitter redcurrant finish. Modest port, flavoursome and light. 86/100.

T83. Red, slightly dar. Opacity not noted. Nose “light”. Palate has heat and bright red cherry. Fine drinking Port, but not of the standard to which Taylor aspires.
