Red-bronze centre with a pink rim; 90% opaque. Concentrated flavours on the nose, a touch brooding and withdrawn. Nicely balanced entry bringing a mouthfilling and concentrated palate. Rich dark fruit with plenty of dry tannins still in the core. The late palate is rich and full with a wonderful fragrance on the aftertaste. This is extremely impressive LBV. 91/100.
Top Ports in 2022: Quinta do Noval Nacional 1931. I have never drunk such a wonderful bottle of Port. I cried with joy.

2023: Fonseca 1966. There are not many better Ports.
