I am available in the first week of January 2016. Those not being dry are welcome to join me. I propose beer and drinking games at lunch; beer and drinking games in the afternoon; Port in the evening. What could go wrong?

Is this your first act as my Life Coach in 2016?
If so, it isn't going to go well

Monday it is! Are we doing blind bottles for the evening or any theme? Either way, I am happy starting at anytime that works for you Mr Wiseman. I will drop some port off at the B&F on route. A tasting 4 days in!...just the following 362 days in 2016 to plan for now.

Gents,
Any ideas yet on whether this will be themed or blind?
Julian (and anyone else who is coming to the George), is 1pm a good time for you? Anytime should be okay wth me.

I hope that was aimed at everyone
as I am afraid I am not sure of the optimum time for decanting younger ports.
My port is not quite as young...but I hope young enough. A Sandeman 2000. A recent tasting note from AHB suggested it was open enough to try. Any recommendations on the decant time? Answers on the electronic postcard to
PO Box Port2000

I shall be leaving you to enjoy your afternoon, chaps. Joining a tasting five or six hours in and tasting Port this young doesn't appeal, sorry.
Have fun.

Are we still on for tomorrow evening?
Given the theme of tasting young ports I was tempted to bring a F85! but I see you interpret young differently thus I could bring a Ni 03 or V98 which might be drinking better currently?

Yes.

Simon and I will have some refreshments before the Port. Where ‘some’ really means
some . The chosen ‘young’ was to fit with that. That is not refusing an F85 — never! — but it might hint at an acknowledgement that tomorrow might not be the most efficient use of it. Given those clues, you decide.

Looking forward to the first tasting of the year with tomorrow's emergency. I am afraid I am unable to print, but if no-one else is able I am sure I can work something out in the afternoon.

And to think that all those tv shows over Christmas suggested the greatest comedy duo being Eric and Ernie!
I shall be decanting at 8am or earlier if possible. I am afraid I am not able to advise on the Ferreira.
Until tomorrow...
