I waited until the appropriate time to join in here and today was the perfect time. I tried to get on before New Years actually fell but missed it by a bit.
I want to wish you at The Port Forum, all the best of HEALTH and many great bottles of Port (and wine in general) during 2008!
It has been fun to watch this site grow and continue to multiply. Keep up the great work!
Sincerely,
the new guy here

Well it is now only 6:30 p.m. on New Year's Eve, I am on the west coast of the USA so further behind than NYC.
The '63 Mackenzie VP is in decanter and we had our first course of seared sea scallops with a 2002 JJ Prum Kabinett Graacher Himmelreich which was such a fine pairing.
Enjoy!

Roy,
It is now 4am here so I think you have 5 hours of 07 to go.
I hope you enjoy your evening. HNY2U&URs

Happy New Year and welcome here. If you post some more, the shame of being Cruz Ruby will be gone before you know it.

Yes, but it takes more effort to get off Cockburn's Ruby. I note that the good Lady Roots has decided that Cheap Ruby is a better option and is staying there.
Happy New Year everyone.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with Cruz Ruby ... as long as someone else is drinking it. Admittedly, I have done so in the past on a certain ride on the Douro.
