2013 Dow Senhora da Ribeira

Light purple in colour with a medium rim. Concentrated nose of rose perfume and Turkish Delight, very fragrant. A well balanced fruity and floral palate. Very elegant in style with focussed acidity and soft tannins. Attractive, tasty and elegant with a very long finish. Lots of violets and slightly chewy cocoa tannins. 89/100. 24-Feb-16.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
