55% opacity, warm red. Notes were getting shorter at this point! red fruits, tannins.

Mature red colour with a rose rim; 60% opaque. Mature fruit on the nose with hints of rose hip syrup and blood orange. A wonderful entry, full of rich fruit with a great balance from the fresh acidity. Air on the palate brings lots of youthful fruit. Maturity appears again on the aftertaste, mixed in with the dark chocolate tannins. This has a great structure and a youthful composition that promises a long life ahead of it. 90/100.

W83. Red-pink, 60% opaque. Best of the ’83s, and sweeter and fuller than the W80.
