I've banned all e-mail adresses from gmx.com as we have had no legitimate users from them but a swathe of spammers. If anybody needs to register with gmx.com then send an e-mail to admin@theportforum.com.

I am now also fed up with G-Mail. Over the past few weeks nearly half of all new spam users have been gmail.com accounts, so I'm banning it again. If anybody wants to sign up with a gmail account then again e-mail to admin@theportforum.com and we will sort it out for you. Sorry for the inconvenience but blame it on the low-lives that inundate us with junk.

Much as I'd love to, we have several legitimate hotmail users, whilst only one gmail. The quantity of gmail spammers was ludicrous. I've noticed that the number of fakes has decreased recently so I'm willing to let hotmail ride for a while. Let me know the number of hotmail accounts that you kill.

It's manageable. Hotmail is very popular with real people as well as spammers and I'd like to get the real people at the expense of knocking out two or three spammers per day.
