Light orange ochre, 10% opaque. Warm, sweet and honeyed nose, very floral. Balanced and elegant on the palate; sweet and slightly fat with a hint of smoked orange. Light, elegant and very flavoursome. Hot aftertaste and such a long hot peppery finish. Lovely port. 92/100. 05-Dec-17. Decanted 2 hours.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
