G60, decanted 16:15. Brown-red, 35% opaque. Nose had smoke. Palate on edge of dryness, with heat mid-palate. Very long, but dry. Drink up.

25% opacity, red-orange, slightly cloudy. Smooth entry, very gentle heat towards the finish. Sweet fruit, hints of oranges, drying out a little.

Reddish brick-brown, 30% opaque. Slightly soapy tone to the redcurrant nose, which is nicely pronounced. Balanced entry, with the fruit a little dirty - perhaps a hint of weevil damage. Something quite unpleasant comes trhough on the mid-palate and dominates the late palate. A bottle to spit.

Two days later a tasting sample made it clear this was a wine which had been damaged by cork weevils.
