TV65, decanted 17:00. Red, 40% opaque. Palate soft, with strawberry and pepper; good weight. But the sweetness slightly artificial.

20% opacity, dull amber. Sugary nose, toffee, caramel. Smooth, nicely balanced, oranges, some pepper in the finish, lots of caramel.

Burnished copper colour, 35% opaque. Slightly smelly nose (and a weevil affected cork). Lacking flavours on the palate, flat and a bit bland. The late palate does show some candied orange and redcurrant jelly, but lacking enough acidity to keep the palate fresh. Sweet red liquorice on the aftertaste and a long red jelly finish. In isolation, this is a lovely Port but in the company of the other wines being drunk this evening, it falls short. 85/100.
