25% opacity, brown-orange. Lovely range on the nose (presumably range of scents!?). Soft, smooth, lovely rich Christmas cake, long finish.

Mature brick-red colour with a hint of brown on the rim, 30% opaque. Some toffee and red apple on the nose, a little harsh and bruised. Bruised apple fruit flavours lead on the entry, but followed by a lovely peppercorn and brown sugar fatness. Lots of bruised apple acidity and a hint of burnt sugar bitterness settle on the late palate. The aftertaste is big and delivers a lovely (but slightly short) finish. A very nice Port. 90/100.
