SW80, decanted 16:00. Dark dark red, 80% opaque. The colour, ahem, very 1980 SFE. Which is good. Palate sweet with smoke.

70% opacity, dark red. Nose of ripe fruit. Lovely, full, rich, sweet, fruity mouthfeel. Ripe red fruit, some pepper.

Deep red, richly coloured - a dark cherry red; opaque at the centre. Lovely and rich on the nose with lots of wonderfully pronounced primary fruit just showing a hint of maturity. Very young on the palate, primary dark cherry and a hint of tobacco. Tremendously concentrated fruit; rich, tannic and with eyewatering acidity. These combine to give a very young, but wonderful palate. The aftertaste is lovely, full of dark cherry fruit and the dryness of cherry stones. Big, black liquorice on the finish slowly changes to black jelly babies and lingers for a long time. This is a lovely Port, young and with so much potential. 90/100.
