Deep crimson in colour. A nose which was gently perfumed and quite delicious. A lovely texture on the palate, which is well constructed so as to give an excellent mouthfeel. Powerful tannins, huge acidity and plentiful ripe fruit combine to give a big Port with a wonderful elegance. 92-94/100.

Deep purple, unusual nose of red fruit and marzipan, felt slightly over-ripe, intensely tannic with a bitter hint on the aftertaste which left a drying sensation. Finishes medium+ 15.5/20

D5: Very attractive red fruit driven nose, mainly cranberry. Powerful entry. Bright acids. Little tannin in evidence but certainly present. This is a very attractive earlier drinking style on the red fruit spectrum. Lovely, slightly warming finish.
