MyO17: Intense perfume; slightly dry; great length.

B6: A spicier, dense nose. A slightly distracting acetic edge to palate. Not sure this is as it should be?

This was fairly closed, not much fruit fruit to be found. Red berries. Very strong and grippy tannins dominating the mouth and making this very dry indeed. Ok

Tasted blind. Deep red, almost black in colour. Showing a deeply scented sweet and fully ripe bramble fruit nose. The sweetness and ripeness continues on to the palate, which is full of generous but slightly bruised fruit. Then comes a massive wave of tannins - wow! The fruit is rich and fragrant but the tannins are huge and unforgiving. Wonderful aftertaste and a very long finish. This is very much of a black-strap tannic monster made in an old-fashioned way, fabulous. 94-96/100.
