A9: An obvious alcoholic edge to the spicy fruit. Decent tannic structure. Good acid balance. A bit unintegrated/raw today so too early to say on this one.

Lots of red fruit, dark cherry and liquorice on the palate. Balanced with this is a heavy tannin. Chewy. Good

Deep colour, strong fruit driven nose of red fruit. Dry, not overpowering. Good fruit, slightly dry style nice and fruity 90.

From Ramos Pinto, tasted blind. A modest red colour. Limited nose, some - but not as much as most - fruit. Medium bodied impact with modest fruit and plenty of tannin. Nice development of flavour and structure on the palate with lots of modest fruit and dry tannins on the mid- and late palates. A dry edge to the aftertaste and finish of lingering candied fruit jellies. 86-88/100.
