The time convenient to us that is closest to the two hundredth anniversary of that would be the evening of Thursday 23rd May 2019.
And we did.

T66, decanted 16:00. Dark red, 50% opaque. Palate long and lovely, but very dry, still with a hint of cherry.

Dark rose red colour, 40% opaque. Vigorous swirling in the glass releases some mature fruit. A lovely texture on the palate with rich flavours full of mature fruit. Wonderful layering of flavours, rich and developed. Delicious redcurrant aftertaste, spiced up with hints of mace, leads to a very fine finish of cranberry jelly. Great length. 91/100.
