The time convenient to us that is closest to the two hundredth anniversary of that would be the evening of Thursday 23rd May 2019.
And we did.

F66. Dark red, 60%. Mid+ weight; dry throughout. There’s a grape-pip bitterness there. Not quite F66.

Dark mature red colour, 80% opaque. Mature fruit on the nose but slightly soapy although showing well. Lots of fruit on the palate, rich and very much dominated by the sweet red fruit with hints of tannin; a palate which fills the mouth well with a very, very fine palate. The fruit dominates the aftertaste before a huge black cherry fruit finish. Great Port. 93/100.
