RV27. Orange brown, 20% opaque. Soft and light, heat mid palate, brown sugars. Very long. Overmature, delicate, no fruit, but still lovely drinking.

Later: larger, softer, still full and long. Showing very well.

20% opacity, copper-amber, clear. Smooth entry, sweetness mid palate, dates, figs, long finish. In great shape for 90+ years old.

Goden red colour, 40% opaque. Soft and mature rose hips on the nose, merging with smooth and mature fruit. The wine has a wonderful thick texture, tasting of baked fruit with so much acidity to support the palate - a palate which is thick, rich, sweet and complex albeit slightly baked in tone but definitely a big set of flavours. Burnt sugar and concentrated red toffee on the aftertaste and finish showing toffee and tertiary flavours rather than secondary fruit - but such lovely drinking! 93/100.
