RV42. Orange red, 25%. Nose of burnt elastic bands (rightly says Sofia), and disconcerting. Palate light, weaker version of the burnt, and thins quickly in palate. Dry ending. Not loved.

20% opacity, mature red brown. At the outset the nose was bad - rubber bands. With 90 minutes in the glass, the nose improved substantially. In the mouth, rich, some sweetness and also a slight bitterness in the finish.

Deep burnt red colour, 50% opaque. An astonishing nose, smelling like a burning mosquito coil! Very strange. Perhaps some cinnamon drop sweets. Unpleasant palate, full of cigarette ash at first with some concentrated sweet cherry fruit. A nice texture, but an unpleasant wine. A bad bottle. Not rated.
