RV47. Red pink, 20% opaque. Soft, slight red cherry, mocha bitterness, some marmalade. Long, soft, slightly oleaginous. I really like this mature Port.

20% opacity, copper. Caramels and red fruit on the nose. Soft syrupy entry, red fruits and caramels. Very nice port.

Pale red, lightly pigmented at only 30% opaque. An attractive mature redcurrant nose, very fragrant and wonderfully delicate. A hint of the soapiness seen the palate of the 1966 but otherwise rich and flavoursome with a lovely powerful mature fruit riding on the top of an elegant acidity. A beautiful pure finish, like walking in a flower garden on a warm summer evening, that delivers a delicious green bite at the end. A great bottle.
94/100.
