Opened 1650, decanted 2000 on 08/12/19. Pale compared to its brethren. Nose a bit stinky. Hmm. Not sure about this one.

Very pretty light red, 30% opaque. Odd nose. This is not right.

Fairly light colour. Nose not clean so came back an hour later - still not right.
Better in the mouth. OKish.

Pale and evolved, a light brick-red colour; 30% opaque. Warm vanilla biscuits on the nose, not fruity and distinctly different from other wines (D, G, W, V, GC) tasted previously this evening. Perhaps, being kind, the nose could be described as being of baked fruit. The palate continues the theme of baked fruit, but now with burnt raisin. The wine has a nice structure with an elegant acidity which holds the wine together but there is a very burnt tone to the fruit. The burnt raisin tone dominates the aftertaste and good length finish. This is a uniquely flavoured Port which some people might love, but I did not. Hopefully a badly stored bottle. 82/100.
