2001 Fonseca Guimaraens Panascal

A half bottle purchased from FWW. Given a 24-hr decant: 90% opaque. Gentle heat on the nose, a hint of green herbs and plums. On the front palate lots of cranberry and mint. Plum crumble and a hint of white pepper on the finish. A very good cheese (Colston Basset) wine. A pleasure to drink, and years in it, but I can't see it developing any further nuances. Consumed 23/12/19.
