I have 12 bottles of Warres 1983 which I won't appreciate. Would anyone like to buy them off me?

They've been properly stored in a cellar and are in the unopened case.

Thanks!

Hello. I’m unlikely to be the buyer, but have questions of interest to any possible purchaser.

Where are you? Or, more importantly, where are the bottles? UK? USA? New Zealand? Where within?

How long have you had them? How obtained? Receipts?

Thank you for the message and good question! In Earls Court, London. They were given to me as a Christening present, sadly no receipts but I trust the donor.

I live in Streatham, and so would be willing to accept delivery on behalf of a purchaser.

Have you a target price?

I think it sells for about £70 a bottle but that's obviously with mark-up. Happy to consider offers!

You will need to open case verify bottle condition and fill levels.

£70/bottle is very high. It’s significantly cheaper in the USA and our prices for older VP are always much higher than the UK for older bottles.

Not interested due to my location, just some friendly advice.

As Andy has said this Port is considerably cheaper than your estimate. There is a 12 bottle case available from Justerini & Brooks (a top notch wine merchant) for the equivalent of £45 per bottle including VAT.

£500 cash, assumes proximity to London or you can organise delivery.

It’s been a while but I’ve decided to follow up and sell the case of port. Could you drop me a note if you’re interested? There’s no great rush to pick up (London) or I could potentially get it couriered (at cost). Thanks!

I’m not a fan of ’83s, so am not you purchaser unless the price is extremely generous.

Nonetheless, good luck. Somebody should be.
