50% opaque, looks 40 years old. Something strange on the nose. Nutty finish. Not quite right. Tasted blind at B&F 9 January 2020. Courtesy JDAW.

From half bottle filled in 2007. Deep red, more mature in appearance than the Crasto 1996 tasted alongside this one; 90% opaque. A touch of bottle stink on the nose but a nice texture on the palate, but the palate is light and lacking in fruit but with excessive tannins. The bottle stink spoils the fruit giving flavours which are vegetal and unpleasant. Served blind, this was guessed to be Marks & Spencer (Quinta & Vineyard Bottlers Lda) 2011. Not rated. Tasted 09-Jan-20. Decanted 2 hours.
