Dark red, in early maturity; 95% opaque. Rich bramble fruit on the nose, fragrant and lovely. Hollow entry, slow to develop on the palate. Big, fruity and bold with dusty tannins and masses of black cherry on the palate. This is a big wine, rich and full of fruit giving a wonderful mouthful. Lots of fruit on the aftertaste and such a big finish. This is fabulous Port, so young and yet so delicious. Served blind, this was guessed to be Fonseca 1985.
93/100. Tasted 05-Feb-20. Decanted 11½ hours.
