Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

Sadly, I can no longer come to this tasting. It looks interesting, I like TTF, I'm sorry to have to miss it. Hope it goes well.

@ DaveRL - sorry you cannot make it.

There may be an industry guest to fill DaveRL's place. Will check.

Is it possible to get the batting order and confirm if I should bring the ‘99, ‘01 or neither and adopt? Preference would be either of the bottles I have.

@forest26 - there is nothing for you to adopt - there are only 11 wines!

A grave concern is that we'll go thirsty. Perhaps double up with other Taylor VP from common years?

Confirming that I can bring the 05.

Perhaps add some Vargellas years, particularly in those years where both were produced?

I could bring TV, and TVV 1995 if that would help

... and I've just noticed earlier in this thread that I suggested the same thing a couple of years ago and the organiser said no - therefore apologies for the repeat.

@PhilW - life might have mellowed my narrow focus. Also, I like TV91. Let me cogitate.

I would also need to adopt a Terra Feita, or even an old Vargellas. (Full declarations I have, most obviously ’70, and ’85 in magnum.)

@idj123 - you are first reserve, and thus now have a place if you want it
