From half bottle.
Decanting Sample - copious (although pleasantly chewy) sediment. Full but tannic.
+ 3 hrs 75% opaque, nose herby, hint of acetone, congruent light entry, then red fruit, delicious broad finish of cherry cobbler
+ 24 hours 75% opaque, nose not terribly attractive, but very attractive on palate, sultana, quite light, bakewell tart
+ 72 hours 80% opaque, lush red fruits nose , camphor/cedar/mothball, also liquorice note; progression to exuberant palate of red fruits, pleasant slightly confected aniseed twist/liquorice comfit finish, gentle mellow flavour
