Potential Emergency - Tuesday 25th August
Potential Emergency - Tuesday 25th August
I am going to be in and around the St James’ area Tuesday late afternoon / early evening & wondered if anyone might fancy sharing a bottle or two at 67 Pall Mall?
If interested/available let me know.

Perhaps, but if I can I will probably not be able to get into London until about 19.30.
Top Ports in 2022: Quinta do Noval Nacional 1931. I have never drunk such a wonderful bottle of Port. I cried with joy.
2023: Fonseca 1966. There are not many better Ports, except a good bottle of Fonseca 1927. Wow!

Alas I’m quattordicining. But I have something to drink — is it possible to I join remotely?
If placemats will be wanted, I’ll make. Pls instruct me by 22:00 this evening. And confirm or correct the following:
Title = Emergency
Where = 67 Pall Mall
Date = Tuesday 25th August 2020
Who = NAC MPM HTWH and two spares
What = NAC MPM HTWH † ‡
Edit: done anyway — the currect draft of the placemats.

Virtually attending is a possibility, but depends upon which table we've got. If I can get the Wine Library (or something similar) then won't be a problem. Will let you know ASAP.
Thanks for doing the placemats.
Cheers
Neil

Wine Library secured & believe Mike has sent you a Zoom invite.

My bottle decanted at 1300.
Just had a quick QA taste and think it's very approachable. Considerable improvement on previous bottle from the same case.

Would be up for joining by zoom if that is possible but not a problem if not. Enjoy the emergency regardless!

The monkey guessed Graham 1970, and scored the only point. The monkey defeated all those present.

Would someone be kind enough to post a list of what else was drunk (other than Rozes 2011 LBV)?

NAC - Noval 1985
HTWH - Quinta Da Eira Velha 1994
mine was drinking much older than it should be, but i enjoyed its dry style
next time note to self, don't post after tasting until the next day!
