A full rich red, 60% opaque. This is a full-fruited and very complex tobacco-scented port, but at this time perhaps not showing its full potential.

Poached red fruit compote and sweet tobacco on nose. Damson on front palate. Full, still slightly spirity, mid-palate with a (genuine) kaleidoscope of fruits on the finish, gradually darkening to prune from the early redcurrant.
Very nice port indeed, with absolutely ages to go.
Consumed 6/11/20 and 7/11/20.
