NV Fonseca Tawny 10YO (bottled 2017)

Pale tawny with garnet highlights. On the nose stewed plum, caramel, fruitcake, walnut cake, milk chocolate and some interesting medicinal notes offering complexity. On the palate it is sweet with a lively acidity balancing the sweetness.This is soft and smooth with a welcoming warming heat from the alcohol. Stewed bramble fruit dominate the palate with spices. The finish is medium+. Very pleasant 10 year old tawny. 90/100
