From 90ml.

Tasted against the 1981 White Colheita, a little lighter in colour.

Less viscous than the 1981.

Nose a bit forbidding; does it need time? But some obviously hidden depths.

Palate: gosh, well into Madeira territory here. Clearly a fortified wine. Orange ginger and menthol. Nothing like VP. Not a criticism.

This is very good wine.

Makes the 1981 seem obvious. And the 1981 was really rather good.
