With a dark centre but brick red edge, this port is transitioning nicely towards secondary characteristics; in the mouth it is slightly dry with flavours of dusky black cherries, gentle spice and hint of toffee; this is a lovely port. I have been impressed by previous single quinta releases from Terra Feita, and the 2005 is no exception; having just been released, it is also easily available and excellent value.
