60% opacity, red with hints and shades of brown. Nose has raisin, leather, tobacco. I wouldn’t say this was smooth in the mouth, still some unintegrated tannin, very gentle heat along the palate, chocolate, some plum. I think this needs quite some more time to even itself out and soften somewhat. Even then, it will likely be middle drawer at best.
