D50. Orange, 30% opaque. Nose very tawny, with figs behind. Palate light, simple, faded.

Brown with orange rim. Smells dry, oranges again. At first rich and sweet with some fudge and caramel crunch. Later, simpler. In the last decade of its drinkable existence, descending towards senescence.

Dow 1950, decanted 19.30 and tasted 21.45: dark ochre colour, 60% opaque. Some sweet fruit syrup on the nose, but rather restrained. Modest entry, mature fruit on the palate which blooms beautifully with a bit of air. Lovely aftertaste and nice lingering finish. 90/100. Descending towards senescence? Perhaps, but I will be drinking this with great pleasure in another decade - if I can find any!

35% opacity, orange-brown, cloudy. And that's it for this note...
