2013 Bulas LBV

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Bulas 2013 LBV: drunk (again) at the Sea Kitchen restaurant in West Looe. A rich, deep red with a tiny rim. Big chunks of sediment left in the bottle. Sweet plum fruit on the nose, a little restrained. Lovely balance on the palate, good fruit - plum and raspberry - with a nice gentle tannin core. Delicious aftertaste of dried plum and milk chocolate with a great length finish. Very fine LBV. 89/100. Drunk 15-Sep-21. Decanting time N/K.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
