It is hard to resist when only £4 per half, and so quaffable. Just thinking about it brings the flavour back to my taste-buds. I might open one of mine tonight.

Just opened one myself, picked up last seven from shelf after work tonight, does this count as panic buying?

I obviously panicked more than you did, a baker's dozen were acquired from my local Tesco this morning for £49.40. Interestingly, they now seem to be priced at £4 as there was no special offer ticket on the shelf. I wonder if they have been permanently re-priced to get them off the shelf?

We can but hope...I shall try to head to Tesco in the next few days to test the theory and check the tickets.

Also just acquiring 24 x D92 Bonfim for longer term consumption.

Last night's Cruz LBV had a defective bottle as it was empty at the end of the second glass...

Alas, an all too common phenomenon these days.

My local Tesco no longer has a place on the shelf for Croft LBV. This is a de-stocktastic offer - go sweep the shelves!!!!!!!!

Has been none in my local Tesco for a while, but fortunately was passing by another huge Tesco this morning, nipped in to check and bought their remaining 6 bottles; had been after a few more after drinking a few of them recently; will try again later this week just in case they have any more to put out :)

One of my local Tesco stores had moved all of their remaining half bottles of Croft 04 LBV to the "Special Offers" wine shelf. They now have none left :D

It is worth looking around all the places where Tesco put their special offer wines before assuming they have none left

So how much are they when sitting on the special offer wines shelf?

That was only in Q1. We're now into a new tax year, a new quarter and it's nearly St George's Day. And my magic spreadsheet says that I need another 600 bottles if I want to have enough to drink 2 bottles of port a week for the rest of my life. I am in grave danger of running out! More seriously, my plan is to buy 1-2 cases a year of new release vintages and 2-3 cases a year of other port. So far this year I have bought 12 bottles of Bomfim 1992 and 2 bottles of 1963 port for myself - I think that's quite restrained 88)
