Very aged colour - orange - but clear.
Warm apricots on the nose.
Fig jellies on the palate - Batger's figs.
Attractive wine. But clearly elderly.

25% opacity, amber yellow. Super rish nose, caramels, toffee. Rich and fresh in the mouth, toffee, citrus - lemon.

A bunch of people got together at The White Horse Inn, Saffron Walden, for our traditional pre-Christmas get-together.
