2003 Berry Brothers (Quinta de la Rosa)
A wonderful dark red.
Herbaceous nose, warm blackberry-led palate.
Young yet, but this is excellent port.
Consumed 2/2/22.

Re: 2003 Berry Brothers (Quinta de la Rosa)
Quinta de la Rosa. Opened at 21.00 the night before the tasting and decanted at 08.00.
Deep red in colour with a narrow rim. Fresh fruit salad on the nose. Slow to show on the palate but patience allows a good, sweet bramble fruit to develop supported by really good tannins giving a great grip. This is all followed by a long chalky bramble finish. Thoroughly enjoyable. 91/100. Drunk 02-Feb-22. Decanted 12 hours.

Top Ports in 2022: Quinta do Noval Nacional 1931. I have never drunk such a wonderful bottle of Port. I cried with joy.
2023: Fonseca 1966. There are not many better Ports, except a good bottle of Fonseca 1927. Wow!
