Tensioning tool repurposed

I found this tool to be very useful for removing cork remnants where the corkscrew has partially pulled out the cork leaving a hole. Pass the tool down through the hole and pull the rest of the cork out. Hope this makes sense. Product available from Mighton but I would imagine any outlet that sells spiral sash balance windows would be able to supply.

Five ordered (bulk cheapens postage per). I will distribute for testing.
Amazon has some alternatives. Reasoning welcomed. I’ve ordered, and will report on,
Amtech R0360 and
US PRO 5034.

Watching cooking on tv, chefs often use long tweezers to place food on plates. They look interesting to get bits of cork out of bottles. Amazon have some. Thoughts?
