NV Ramos Pinto 30YO (bottled 2021)

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Bottled 2021. Lighter in colour again than the Ervamoira 10 Year Old and Bom Retiro 20 Year Old shown alongside this wine; 30% opaque. Orange blossom honey with just a hint of vinagrinho on the nose. Smooth, delicious and enveloping on the palate, wrapping the tongue and senses in a marshmallow of flavours and sensations. Rich orange blossom honey and a hint of fragrant citrus oil. This is a really good wine with fabulous complexity. 93/100. Tasted 22-Mar-22.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
