The third from a half-case of (12) half bottles. Deep and impenetrable black with an edge of red. Stunning nose of blackcurrants, so fragrant - like sniffing a field of lavender on a sunny day with the bees working around you. The fragrant black currant follows onto the palate, backed by the most exquisite fine-grained and refined tannins you could possibly imagine. This is astonishingly delicious, so drinkable today (it went within 2 hours) and yet with such cellar potential. This is magnificent; David Guimaraens must have had so much fun putting this blend together. 93/100. Drunk 28-Mar-2022. Decanted 1 hour.
