3 'V' or 4?
When at the Quinta in 2018 or 2019, we were shown a barrel that was marked with 4 'V' and told that they weren't yet sure what they were going to do with it, but that it was well over 100 years old. I'm wondering if this is the same thing?

I only noted three Vs, but my ability to focus and to count could have been slightly compromised by the time I tasted this.
I am clear that this was a blend of the three vintages though, if that makes a difference.

I dug through my notes and found the tasting - Sept 25 at Barao de Vilar. We were not told any vintages, but curiously I did make a note that they were thinking that they might use it to make a 40 Year Old. (Presumably as a component.)
So... probably not the same Port.
