There are twenty-two known declarations of Quinta da Cavadinha: 1978, ’79, ’82, ’84, ’86, ’87, ’88, ’89, ’90, ’92, ’95, ’96, ’98, ’99, 2001, ’02, ’04, ’05, ’06, ’10, ’12, ’15.

What do we have, and who has it?

3. Cavadinha 1982 (NAC);
4. Cavadinha 1984 (THRA, HTWH);
5. Cavadinha 1986 (THRA);
6. Cavadinha 1987 (NAC, THRA);
7. Cavadinha 1995 (JDAW—TN);
8. Cavadinha 1996 (PW, CPR);
9. Cavadinha 1998 (SCD—reserves, CPR in halves);
10. Cavadinha 2001 (NAC, AHB, HTWH in magnum, JDAW);

We have never attempted a vertical of Warre Cavadinha.† Surely we should.‡

Cavadinha is a rare large-shipper not-first-name brand. Entry might need to be restricted to those with bottles.

Have now checked records properly and have 1982, 1987, 2001, 2005. All bottles.

all good for this, confirming having 1984, 2001 in mags, 2006 in halfs, there are more but have to move a few things to check which vintages

I’m interested, but don’t currently have any bottles - I can try to get one nearer the time though.

Am also up for the Vargellas tasting, as will be Alex M. if he is available. Probably can't do this Cavadinha tasting.

Can I go on the reserves please, I definitely have the 1998… but better take it off the Heritage wine list just in case!
