A dark pink colour with a little fine haze to it. The nose shows a little cranberry fruit, fresh and clean. Vibrant and youthful fruit on the palate with clean acidity focusing on the generous crushed berry fruit. Soft tannins hide beneath the fruit promising a good future for the wine and giving a lovely mouthfeel. Delicious crushed berry aftertaste and a good length finish. Lovely. Double decanted for 23 hours. 89/100.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

Another gentle nose, subtle red fruits. A touch of pepper spice. Sweet red fruit on the palate. A touch of spice. Nice but nothing more for my money.

55% opacity, dark red, slightly cloudy. Jammy fruit nose. Full, softer that the N, finish shorter than the N.

Dark red, a little murky. Pine needles on the nose. Quite confected cherry bonbon palate. Not great; medicinal. Harsh fruit. Is this totally right?
