Double decanted 12 hours. A deep red with a medium rim. Fragrant nose with ripe fruit showing well out of the glass - lovely. A beautiful texture on the palate; ripe fruit and good firm tannins with good complexity to the fruit. The tannins are ripe on the aftertaste and support a fine red toffee apple finish of great length. A really good Port, slightly lighter bodied than the Warre or Graham tasted in the same flight. 90/100.

Chocolate and dark cherries on the nose. Slightly muted on the palate but that might be because it's a touch cold - I'll come back to this later.

Coming back to it, this is a very enjoyable wine - strawberries and chocolate. Tannic grip.

Dark. Pale pink rim. On the nose, strawberries, lots of strawberries. A fair amount of good attack on the palate. Excellent. I went out and bought half a case.
